About Me

THANKS FOR VISITING. Did you know that YOU - the music fan, have been helping support indie music in Canada through your generous support of this music? Revenues from THE CHRONICLES music sales goes right back into the Canadian music scene by funding www.INDIECAN.com - The Chronicles are like the “IndieCan house band” as all members have had a hand in IndieCan Radio’s success.ABOUT THE BAND
Do you remember when Rock was fun? The Chronicles do. Billboard Magazine (2006) says, "Here's an Iggy Pop meets Billy Idol feel with infectious melodies and witty lyrics."The Chronicles are a recording act featuring Jesse and Joe Chisholm, a father and son song writing team who have compiled a few dozen songs since 2004. We are joined by indie veteran Andre Skinner of Canteen Knockout and Tim Cassidy, radio host of IndieLove and former front man of the Jeff Healey house band. We’ve enjoyed some critical acclaim, regular spins on college radio, pod casts from Calgary to Ottawa, Michigan to Florida, most recently Europe + the odd CBC feature. Jesse and Joe would like to thank our friends at Song Writers Association of Canada, all of the veterans and beautiful unknowns of the Canadian music community for your support and ideas on production, song writing and what’s most important in life.We are singing for our supper and our education. Revenue from music sales goes right back into worthy causes: Jesse has just been accepted into Trinity College at U of T. Joe is the founder of IndieCan Radio. Andre was a co-founder of IndieCan and continues to be a big supporter when he can steal time from his Alt/Country act, Canteen Knockout and his death metal band No Church.Listen here all you want for want and please feel free to tell your friends. If you would like to own any or all of five song recording, please visit our music store at: http://www.chroniclesrock.com/store.htmIf you think we suck BIG TIME but you still want to help support indie music were cool with that. We don't expect to be everything to everyone. We'll help you get a deal - save money and support independent music in Canada - click on the "What Is Indie?" bar right over there Remember, all revenue helps support Canadian indie music. Thanks again for stopping by.Jesse and Joe Chisholm
