THE STUDIO VISIT: Take a tour guided (by a large bunny rabbit) through NYC artist Cynthia von Buhler's art studio in the Meatpacking district. This video was created for an Exit Art exhibition of homemade artist videos showcasing their studios. Von Buhler also housed her studio in a window at Exit Art during the course of this exhibition. She worked on art in the art complex window while people on the street watched."Music always helps, as does high speed, stop action or high-speed stop action, combinations of which are used to good effect by Joyce Pensato, Cynthia von Buhler, Ida Applebroog, Bruce Pearson and Lance Wakeling" - The New York Times, Roberta Smith COME INSIDE KITTY: If you merge South Park with Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer it might look something like this. This animation is based on the children's book, The Cat Who Wouldn't Come Inside, written and illustrated by Cynthia von Buhler. For more information on the book visit www.comeinsidekitty.com. This animation is very different from the actual book. The actual book is not scary or weird. It is for children and adults who like unique books and/or cats.
