A Retrospective | 1986-2008 is coming on Russia's Shadowplay Records in June (or July). You can see the track listing here . As opposed to 2003's With a million tear-stained memories, this "best of" includes "the hits" -- many of which are rare & different mixes. The whole thing has been remastered and sounds great (especially the old tracks). Exclusive to this disc is "I have no more answers" off Remnants of a deeper purity, but with Elysabeth providing the vocals.Sam is finishing up the release of Anthology Archive from Revue Noir, his side-project with with black tape's Nicki Jaine. our first new song since 2004's halo star album is out. "i strike you down," features elysabeth on vocals and guest guitar from doug white, of the projekt band tearwave. it is available on PROJEKT200 . also included is a 2007 mix of "across a thousand blades" which is probably the best sounding version of this song, to date. oscar's vocals are warm and up-front, and lisa's flute is on the song for the first time....thanks to everyone who came out to see us play in brooklyn and new haven. they were great shows!
