When I was a kid, I loved The Smurfs, Choose Your Own Adventure books, the smell of an old record player playing Frank Sinatra, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, the sound of the wolf from Peter & The Wolf, A&W Root Beer, laying down in the snow and looking up towards the sky, Venture stores in Chicago, playing Atari with my two brothers in the toy room, renting videotapes at Dominick's in Stone Park by the bridge, weeping willow trees, the sound of snow being shoveled, the feeling of being on a wooden bridge swaying in the wind.
