Uncle Leon and the Alibis

Mom, is there an Uncle Leon ride at Disney World?

About Me

At last! The "Roller Derby Saved My Soul"album is now on sale!
Buy it here!

Uncle Leon and the Alibis have played everywhere from outlaw biker gatherings to a premiere party for Walk the Line, but they still do their best work in the seedy dive bars of Brooklyn, New York, where they have been known to rile drunken crowds, mend broken hearts, incite people to quit their jobs, perform the occasional spontaneous faith-healing, and otherwise stir shit up. The band has developed a rabid and dedicated cult following, comprised almost entirely of voluptuous women of questionable repute.
In the past year, Uncle Leon and the Alibis achieved a certain infamy among the numerous female Roller Derby leagues of America, thanks to their accidental smash-hit single, “Roller Derby Saved My Soul”.
Fueled by wits, whiskey, and a whole lot of Derby love, the band recently completed its first ramshackle tour of Middle America. Thanks to everyone who helped make it happen.

Things I Learned from

Last night, for the first time in at least 20 years, I revisited this classic tale of freelance fisticuffs, lost love, and folk-hero redemption as only '70s Clint Eastwood can spin it. (Legend ha...

Just in case you're wondering...

Everything we predicted about last night's show at the Lucky 13 Saloon came true. Including the crazy fetish girl. And the pole.
