Free thinkers, cross-country RV'ers (I am not age discriminatory, I can bond with the retired crowd), animal lovers, people that can build things(I have alot of ideas, but no building skills! , Book readers, music listeners, joke tellers, tree climbers, fence hoppers, fellow roustabouts and outlaws...I'm fond of outlaws. P.S. I've met alot of cool people in my life and hope to keep doing it until I'm 90somethin' I'm a Scorpio...we're people collectors...but we do value them.

Tom Robbins, Ellen Sleazak, Michael Ondiaatje, Lorrie Moore, David Sedaris, Caroline Knapp, Augusten Burroughs, Margaret Atwood, Mark Childress, John Irving, Tobias Wolff, Diana Wagman, Jeanette Winterson,John Cheever, Jayne Anne Phillips, Aimee Bender,Dorothy Parker, A.M Homes, Marrianne Wiggins, Charles Bukowski and Flannery O'Connor. Sharon Olds can write some damn fine poetry. There is a (small) character based on me in the pop-rock novel, Kennel Cough, by Scott Faingold. I haven't written a novel, YET, but being in one is a bit of a small comfort. (you know, that leaving things behind feeling...Plus, Scott promised me a bigger character in his next novel...) I also have a little postcard in the book, Post Secret, based on the postsecret.com art project. (postsecret.com) Geek Love must be on everybody's book list and Cruddy, by Lynda Barry. My friend, Chad, turned me on to Breece D'J Pancake...an American gothic Southern writer... if you like the style, you have to read him. I'm still digesting that book. I've just started to read/re-read the classics...
