www.myspace.com/theecho
When: Sundays from 5PM-9PM
Country Sunday BBQs at The Grand Ole Echo.
Alt-country bookers (aka The Happy Bookers) Kim Grant and Pam Moore are working with Echo booking queen, Liz Garo to put together a 3rd season of great FREE ALL-AGES shows. The Grand Ole Echo means country (the good kind) every Sunday this summer at the legendary Echo in Echo Park!
Doors open at 5PM and the great music starts at 5:30PM and ends at 9PM, so you can get back home in time to wash your face and say your prayers.
Relax out back on the Echo patio and enjoy the warm summer weather and eat some delicious BBQ. Come back inside and listen to DJ Cuz’n Roy spinning great old classic country on the record player between acts. Visit with our semi-regular Emcee, Chris Morris, host of Indie 103.1’s "Watusi Rodeo" (Sundays from 9-11 am)!See some of the best country/roots bands in L.A. for free. Dance, drink and meet-up at the friendliest free shows in town.
Don’t miss this great series of the best local and not-so-local country acts around!
