Carmen Lee and the Tomorrow River Two

About Me

Hailing from the small, no-stoplight town of Amherst, WI along the banks of the Tomorrow River; Carmen Lee and the Tomorrow River Two play a mix of classic country, rockabilly, folk and blues. Bringing influences from the likes of Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Elvis Presley, Hank Williams, Bob Dylan and Neil Young; they bland covers as well as originals contributed by Carmen Lee and 'Orlow'. Together and separately they have opened for the likes of Willy Porter, Patty Larkin, Shannon Lawson and award winning country artist Craig Morgan; at venues such as the Sentry Theatre in Stevens Point, WI and the UW-Madison Terrace in Madison, WI. With Carmen Lee's rich, warm voice; 'Orlow's sweet harmonies and steady guitar; and Elliott Abbott's train-slappin' stand-up bass; Carmen Lee and the Tomorrow River Two are a homegrown band with a cool classic sound."It's hard not to like Carmen Lee and the Tomorrow River Two. The rock-a-billy-country-blues singer has been writing music since she was four years old, and never stopped since. Armed with a guitar player and an upright bassist, Carmen looks the part as she delivers tunes influenced by Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Bob Dylan and Neil Young, not to mention the King himself, Elvis Presley. Carmen Lee is starting to become a force in the scene, so look for her original style to start popping up more and more. Her soulful crooning is sure to hit you right in the gut, if not in the heart." ..Brian Kowalski, Wausau City Pages
