Welcome to the SPFANZINE.COM profile page.
After being on myspace for a couple of years as 'Trash 'n' Twang, I thought it was time to add a page dedicated to my music fanzine website. I started producing 'Strange Pleasures' fanzine in a printed form many years ago. When that became too expensive and time consuming I transfered it to the web. I started with, what a lot of people thought was original 1950's software. Over the years I have improved the software and the site (I hope!)
Anyway, SPFANZINE covers mainly blues, rockabilly, country, country rock, roots and good ol' rock 'n' roll. As you can tell by SP's tag line: 'Made In England - Inspired In Texas! my many trips to the Lonestar State (mainly Fort Worth, Dallas, Austin) have influenced a lot of the sites content. That's not to say that you won't find music related stuff from all over the world.

I will be requestin' many of the friends I have made via 'Trash 'n' Twang and adding loads more. So if a bit of bluesycountryrockabillyrootsyrock'n'rolly kinda stuff is your thang then speak to me or expect a friend request somewhere down the road apiece.
