.The Minnesota Twins History.
At first there were two. Childhood friends Jazlyn and Casey Jane first began The Minnesota Twins at the age of 15. The next member Jake joined in time to compete in The Queens Tap battle of the bands where they won the first heat making it trhough to the finals. Kit Hawes soon followed on lead guitar as did Ben Morris on Bass. Finally but not by any means least, Little Fergie completed the line up with some funky backbeats.
The Minnesota Twins are a funky blues band with powerful soul singing and inventive harmonies. Together for 4 years, the Twins have performed in pubs and clubs in Swindon, Bristol and Marlborough. The six piece band has just completed a busy summer festival scene, playing at Sunrise Celebration, Belltane and The Big Green Gathering.
Most recently the band travelled to Germany as part of a cultural exchange with Swindon's twin town Salzgitter, where the played on the main stage at Sommerfest.
The Band are currently working on their - as yet untitled - debut album. The album will have a mixture of new material and some old classics and will represent the new groove heavy sound of the twins.
