About Me

As a youngster Johnny started doing graffiti but since that’s not such a good idea in a small country like Switzerland (because you get into serious problems with the police real quick) he decided to quit that hobby and spend his time drawing his own designs for tattoos.
Johnny started his real ‘career’ in a tattoo business called Spade Tattoo where Maik (one of the owners) taught him the art of tattooing and introduced him to graphic design.
Over the years Johnny taught himself more and more about graphic design and has now produced promotional material for musicians, exhibitions and artwork for magazines and lots of other projects.
His love of old-time music especially 50's Country, Bluegrass, Rock'a'billy, Western-swing and of course Punk-rock have a big influence on his vintage style art.
