Lee Harris and Country Sunshine

About Me

Where do Bakersfield, California and Nashville, Tennessee meet? In Richmond, Virginia! Lee Harris and Country Sunshine mix Bakersfield-style rocking country and swinging Nashville honky-tonk to create a sound that is all their own. The band’s performances feature classics from the 50's, 60's, and 70's alongside great original songs. Singer Lee Harris, a finalist in the 2nd Annual Hank Williams Songwriting Contest, is joined by veterans of local and national musical acts: singer Jenny Jusell, bassist Doyle Hull, guitarist Mark Golden, and drummer Brian Collins.
Country Sunshine's songs have been downloaded over 36,000 times on www.download.com and have received airplay on Richmond’s legendary classic country radio station WXGI, on the “Big John Trimble Show” on WCLM, on Richmond’s own WRIR, and on the Floyd Henderson Show.
