About Me

Our Day to End Poverty is a book that invites us to look at the 24 hours in an ordinary day and begin to think about poverty in new and creative ways. Inspired by the landmark bestseller 50 Simple Things You Can Do to Save the Earth, this book offers scores of actions anyone can take to help eradicate poverty.
Each chapter starts with a task we undertake during a typical day and relates it to ways we can ease the world’s suffering. We begin by eating breakfast—so the first chapter focuses on alleviating world hunger. We might stop by the bank later that day—how can we expand access to microcredit and banking services? In the evening we pick up a good book—what can we do to spread literacy?
The chapters are short and pithy, full of specific facts, resources for learning more, and menus of simple, often fun, and always practical action steps .
The book is available for purchase now! You can get your copy at:
