I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I write romance novels with strong-willed, passionate characters, blistering sensual tension, a dash of black humor and steamy sex. My first book The BOSS'S DEMAND came out from Silhouette Desire in July 2007, my second book SEDUCED FOR THE INHERITANCE came out in October. My third book BLACK SHEEP BILLIONAIRE came out in January 2008. My next book, THE PRINCE OF MIDTOWN is part of the Silhouette Desire "Park Avenue Scandals" series and will be out in September. I live in New York with my husband and two young children and my website is www.jenlewis.com MyGen Profile Generator

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Readers and writers and other dreamers

Music:

I have very eclectic taste--I love music with passion and heart.

Movies:

Hmm, off the top of my head, Bogie and Bacall in To Have and Have Not, Pasolini's Accatone, The Commitments, 21 Grams, Herzog's Where the Green Ants Dream , and anything else with drama, humor and style. Even better if it has a hot hero.

Television:

I used to work at a television museum where I watched enough TV for one lifetime. Mostly I end up watching Law & Order with my husband, who could watch that show 24 hours a day (which is quite possible, it seems). I do enjoy reality shows where you get a peek into other people's lives. I guess that's the writer in me wanting to know what makes people tick. Miami Ink is one of my favorites, because getting a tattoo is such a committment and often has an interesting story behind it.

Books:

I love books with passion, drama, angst and humor, preferably all mixed up together! Authors I've glommed include Jennifer Johnston, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, the Bronte sisters, Roddy Doyle, Kathleen Eagle, Iris Murdoch, DH Lawrence, Kazuo Ishiguro and Charles Dickens.

Heroes:

Anyone who's not afraid to follow their heart and do things their own way, regardless of what everyone else is doing.
