I've been writing far-out stories since I could first pick up a pencil. Then a few years ago, I decided to write for publication. I started out writing SF short fiction and had some success but my author friends encouraged me to write novels. And they pointed out that even my straight SF contained romance in some form. Just on whim (since I'm always game to try something new), I wrote Heartstone. The rest, as they say, is history.

HEARTSTONE
2000 Golden Heart Finalist
Eric d'Ebrur is out of time. He must find the legendary Heartstone and fulfill the ancient Gar'Ja bond he shares with the Stonebearer. But when he finds her, he discovers that love can be more dangerous than the Gawan threat. Eric can defeat the mind-controlling Gawan but will it cost him the woman he loves?
After terrifying episodes of hypersensitivity, Keriam Norton thinks she's losing her mind. When handsome shapeshifter Eric d'Ebrur saves her from the monstrous Gawan, she's sure of it. But insane or not, she'll find the Heartstone and, if she's lucky, a love to last a lifetime.

Devyn MacGregor's alter ego as the Reiver Lord is the only way he can fight the Qui'arel and their nefarious Bride Bounty, a tax paid with human females...until he meets the oddly familiar woman who claims he is her husband. And who sets in motion the rebellion that will either free his countrymen or destroy them.
Praise for Altered Destiny

My Interests

My fluffy buddy Wookie insists on being the top of the list and rightfully so since she IS the Queen of the Universe. Wookie came to me when she was a bare three weeks old after having been separated from her feral mom. I've been her slave ever since :D But Wookie is also a master at picking names out of a box so she does me the favor of selecting the random draw winners of my newsgroup contests

Then there's Wookie's best friend, Zuzu, my 100 lb. rottie mix, aka Bubbles or Buffalo Butt. She may look like a 'devil dog' but she's really a marshmallow.

As an ex-Girl Scout Troop Leader, I had the opportunity to learn a lot about camp crafting and wood craft. It also gave me the opportunity to put all the years of crafting I'd spent to use helping the girls make projects for their moms, dads or families. I unfortunately don't have time for crafts anymore but hope to get back to them one day.

Since I had my kitchen remodeled, I've been dabbling with 'gourmet' cooking. I've always liked cooking but I married a man who makes Mikey look like he'll eat anything. Still, I've come up with some menus that even my darling husband has given a thumbs up to.

Whenever I research something for a new book, I find tidbits of interest. Since I do have an idea for a historical romance (not sure when I'll get the chance to write it though), my research leads me down many a strange path. Here's something I found which I really found interesting.

Which Dark Hunter Character Do You Belong With?
You belong with Wulf Tryggvasen! Who cares if no one remembers him five minutes after they've met him! That just leaves him all to yourself! You love em Dark and mysterious, yet determined to do anything to keep the woman he loves, he's definitely a romantic but with a dark and dangerous side!
