About Me

Clips of me recording the final AREA 54 album 'Bring Out Your Dead' (2007)
I try to reply to everything, but it's just not possible to keep on top of it, so don't be offended if I don't reply. I do appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment, and if I don't reply, it doesn't mean I won't reply next time!
My aim is to keep in touch with everyone who likes what I'm doing, and to reach new people - I need your help, so please top 8 me or add one of my tracks to your profile :)
Bands I've been in:
I.O.C (1993-1994), we recorded a bunch of songs, but never bothered releasing them!
Area 54 (1997-2007), we released three full-length albums, which you can get directly from me or from Amazon.co.uk (details of releases in the 'members' section of this profile
Love & Bullets (2006-2008) recorded a handful of demos, one of which you can hear on this profile 'Waiting for You'
NEMHAIN (2008-xxxx), we've just recorded our debut album in Sweden with Fredrik Nordström & Hanky, release date TBC.
About me : I'm currently doing a Uni degree course in music technology, so along with the playing side of things, etc, I'm quite busy. Im only interested in real friends in the real world, not false ones, but I give everyone a go 'cos making good new friends is something you appreciate a lot more when you get older! I've had some tough times in life, but am aware that others have had it worse. I'm determined to get to where I want to be, and to achieve everything I want. I fight my personal demons and am disappointed when others capitulate to theirs. I'm genuine with my words, which some people can't handle. Jack Daniels is currently my drink of choice. The TV programme '24' is awesome! I say sorry when I make a mistake, I expect others to do the same if their actions affect me. I've had many embarrassing moments that felt a little too 'Spinal Tap', such as when the intro music began, while the band walked around looking for the stage! People have described me as : 'not rock n' roll, clumsy, Jack Sparrow and Ozzy-esque, grouch, and the Sloth from Ice-Age (cos I move lots when I'm trying to sleep). I think I am a tea addict. I hate life, and love it all at the same time. I quite like penguins, they're pretty cool ...
Want to Collaborate? I work with bands/artists of ALL genres - but not beginners. If you want me to lay down any guitars, vocals, write etc., get in touch & maybe we'll get something together. I do live session work with bands/artists too. No sodding time wasters -you get on my tits.
First Love & Bullets acoustic show, performing 'Sweeter Than Honey' - my first time on guitar with them too!

Do you like MEGADETH? Check out AREA 54 covering 'Tornado of Souls'!
AREA 54's 'Living A Lie' video, from the 'Beckoning of the End' album .."425" height="350"
A bit more about what I've done so far : I've played around, Los Angeles, Germany, Holland & U.K, played BLOODSTOCK & BULLDOG BASH festivals, supported DRAGONFORCE, Gilby Clarke (ex-GUNS N' ROSES), Marty Friedman (ex-MEGADETH), Blaze Bailey (ex-IRON MAIDEN/WOLFSBANE) etc.
Pointless Facts!
1-When I was in AREA 54, we recorded a studio version of the still unreleased GUNS N' ROSES track 'Madagascar'. It was not released because I have to wait for AXL to release his version first.
2-I've played guitar for GOREROTTED in the past, when their guitarist broke his arm!
3-Dan Foord (SIKTH) played drums on the very first ever Area 54 limited edition demo ep 'Fear Inside'

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: My releases so far are listed below. If you want to ask anything, feel free to message me (I can only accept cheques now that the on-line store has closed). All of the albums are available from RETALIATE RECORDS at www.amazon.co.uk too. Thanks for your support!!

ALBUMS :

BRING OUT YOUR DEAD (2007) is Area 54's final album. and consists of eleven rock/metal tracks, It's a slow burner, but has become my personal favourite!
BECKONING OF THE END (2003)The follow up to debut album 'No Visible Scars', has 10 tracks, full of guitar harmonies, solos, and an amazing guest appearance by ex- AT THE GATES frontman, Tomas Lindberg. This album has more of an old-school feel than 'Bring Out Your Dead', and was compared to IRON MAIDEN & MEGADETH a lot, but there's more to this album than that, honest! It also includes the full video for 'Living A Lie' as was seen on REDEMPTION TV back in the day.
NO VISIBLE SCARS (2000) , Area 54's debut, has ten tracks, coming from a more simple structure than the later albums, you can hear that we were young, and much like the first METALLICA album, it's production is raw. Guest vocals by The GOREROTTED singers on one track too!
Influences: Black Sabbath, Witchery, Mary Beats Jane, Alice in Chains, The Gits, Eminem, At the Gates, Anathema. the Haunted, Guns N' Roses, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Pantera, The Doors etc.
