About Me

Jennifer Marino - 20 yr old southernrock artist - performing since age nine. The Jenn Marino Band formed Dec. 2002 - playing across Southwestern Ontario - high energy band , performing everything southernrock - classic rock - countryrock.Jenns first recordings were done at age 13 with Harry Hinde who also produced Shania Twains first recordings " The Limelight Sessions". Recorded again at age 15 with Peter Linseman/ MusicMentor Productions which resulted in her first single " Why Me" to be released to radio - airplay across Canada - also in Australia , Europe and the U.S where it was added to Mark Trail's MTM7 compilation cd out of Nashville.August .04 - Jenn is chosen to endorse Daisy Rock Guitars of Los Angeles California - their first Canadian country artist endorsee.Jenn is a 2007 London Music Award Winner - she has been chosen as a final nominee for the past four years for these awards & has also been nominated the past two years for the Jack Richardson Music Awards. Currently Jenn is writing & recording with her band for her first full cd. UPDATE - Feb 2007 - Jenn had the amazing opportunity of writing with the multitalented songwriter/producer Dave Thompson - their cowrite together titled " I DONT DO PRETTY " can be heard here in demo form - Jenn's receiving amazing response on this song at her shows and looking forward to recording it for her upcoming cd - hope you enjoy :) UPDATE : " I Dont Do Pretty" was chosen for a development/recording spot on an upcoming compilation cd due out in the spring - its been recorded and now off to be mastered by a Grammy Award Winning engineer - Jenns very excited to hear the final product - we'll keep you posted on this amazing project !
