Episode 1 "Arctic Viking Roads"
My excellent co producer who is doing the soundtrack is John Nordhus. My brilliant young cameraman for the first episodes of our series is Odin Omdahl now studying in Oslo after a year at prestigious London Film School in England. My hosts for the first 2 episodes are the northernmost Harley dealership in the world "Harley Davidson Nord Norge", and the northernmost HOG chapter in the world the "Arctic HOG Chapter". All of them are really great characters as you will see in the pilot episode. We spent 18 days on the road and put on 5400 miles together without a single problem!
In my series, I will be riding with different HOG, HD-Clubs, MC's and independent bikers as well over the season, and all over the world we will adventure and check out the bikers lifestyle on the Savage Roads!
The hard driving song "Over" is my good buddy Matt O Ree a kick ass guitar player from Jersey and his star is rising fast. Check out his profile on my top list! The mellow ambient music you hear is composed by my partner and fantastic composer John Nordhus. He is also my business partner, co producer, assistant editor and a great photographer and studio freak. The photos I have just posted on my site are taken by him on this adventure. Check out his many sites and great music on my top list!
Enjoy this short preview shot from the top of Norway at the Nordkapp! Soon you will see much more of the episode and of Norway, and the finished product in the next months. Enjoy!

PAT SAVAGE FRIENDS & FAMILY
Pat Savage
Pat Savage was born to a young newlywed biker couple John & Lorraine in Toronto Canada. Wed for only a few days, John took his new bride to Cherry Beach in Toronto for a scoot on an unusually balmy evening in Nov. They made love on the back of his 56 Pan Head HD & 9 months almost to the day Pat was born so literally was conceived on a Harley! When asked if this is a true story Pat says "Ask my mom she knows!"
Pat is an extraordinary guitarist who started playing and singing at the age of 2 years old! Pat began playing drums at the age of 5 and the guitar at 8. He also studied and excelled at acting, dancing, painting and was an accomplished professional Walter Thornten Model for some 15 years. Pat and everyone around him realized early that he was bound for show business and he was truly a child prodigy.
His enormous talent has won him many music awards in both Canada and the USA over the years and his exciting Cd releases Wild World, Made In Detroit and Hog Wild have been critically acclaimed in over 180 magazine raves and reviews to date. Pat Savage is now considered the No 1 Choice in Motorcycle Event Entertainment World Wide with his stellar band playing 17 countries in 2007 at HOG, HD Clubs & MC Harley events!
Very soon you will be watching weekly episodes of Pat's new biker reality series "A Bikers Lifestyle ... The Savage Roads" in which Pat and his band of biker musicians and friends cruise the world on Harley Davidson bikes to perform at motorcycle events. From New Zealand to Norway and from England to Japan, each week a new country and a new episode featuring all that local bikers experience in their own countries and motorcycle scenes. It is highly anticipated by the biker community and all are eagerly awaiting the show to start!
Pat Savage has been touring the world now for over 25 years and has graced many stages and performed with many major rock & blues artists: Joe Cocker, Foghat, Saxon, Savoy Brown, Scorpions, Manfred Mann, Uriah Heep, Steppenwolf, Molly Hatchett, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Nighthawks, BB King, James Cotton, Marshall Tucker Band, Grand Funk, Georgia Satellites, Fabulous Thunderbirds, Jeff Healey Band and Colin James to name but a few!
Kick ass guitarist with a whiskey howl voice and a natural entertainer!
Peter Sid
Peter Sid musical career started at an early age listening to the Beatles and the Rolling Stones records that his mother had. After seeing a Jimi Hendrix concert on TV he started to play the guitar. Shortly after that he bought my first guitar. He played blues, country and rock.
Because of the blues Peter also started to play the harmonica. This subtle howling sound represented for him the blues. He even played harmonica in a big band for some time. After that he played in different blues and rock bands, but also a hardcore band (A.agression), a heavy metal band (Saint Vitus Dance), a great funk band (Manu Funk Tura), and a Latin-Jazz group called Los Mulatos.
Nowadays he is playing a wide variety of styles with The Pat Savage Band, but his heart always returns to the roots of music, the blues....
At one point Peters younger brother picked up the guitar so he switched to playing the bass. He is now playing in The Pat Savage Band full time and still likes it simple, driving and rough and ready but when the batteries are dead the blues will always be his recharger.
This boy jams hard as Milwaukee Steel!
Baukje Westerlaken
Baukje Westerlaken born in Holland, has been engaged in music all her life. Her mother is a piano teacher, so Baukje started early on playing piano. At the age of 18, being a punk rocker, she played guitar in a punk rock band Black Crows.
After doing that for 2 years she she picked up the drumsticks. She took lessons from well known dutch drummers such as Frits Landesbergen, Arend Niks and Fred van Vloten. She played in a variety of bands in various styles as her taste in music moved on from punk rock, hardcore & hard rock to African music, Jazz, Improvised music, funk, rock and blues.
Baukje started playing with the Nasty Girls in 1990. This all girl band toured most of Europe & the Netherlands. The band was a crossover of Funk and Rock and highly popular. After playing for 5 years with the outfit, she formed a band called Groove the Princess with her guitar player. This was an all girl Disco/Funk Band in which Baukje worked hard and toured all over Europe with. Along with her current heavy world wide touring schedule with Pat Savage, she is host drummer at the Waterhole in Amsterdam on Sunday nights and is considered one of a very few top call session drummers around town.
Baukje grooves hard and kicks it like a woman!
