This is a FAN-RUN site supporting the upcoming horror film HATCHET, releasing on September 7th 2007 in theaters across America.
Are you tired of remakes and PG-13 studio films being our only options at the box office? Well sadly... the horror fans kept supporting those movies in the theater and that's why it's like this now. Where were the fans when a good R-rated horror movie came out? Where were they for GRINDHOUSE? Where were they for SLITHER? Where were they for BEHIND THE MASK? It's time to take the genre back and put the fun and gore back in it. HATCHET is our chance to show Hollywood that the fans WILL suport an original R-rated horror film. And if they see that we will support original horror...we will get MORE original horror movies again and we'll put an end to this PG-13 remake craze.
