He also studied with Hal Galper, Reggie Workman, Red Mitchell, Jim Leff, Phil Markowitz, Armen Donelian, Bruce Barth e Ron Jackson.Vasco Agostinho has performed at the most important halls, festivals and clubs in Portugal and Spain, and played with such musicians has: Albert Bover, Carlo Morena, Kevin Hays, Bernardo Sassetti, Chris Higgins, Ed Howard, Mário Franco, Carlos Barretto, António Sanches, Alexandre Frazão, David Xirgu, André S. Machado, Carlos Vieira, Aldo Caviglia, Nanã S. Dias, Paul Young, Eduardo Santos, Chris Alexander, Claus Nymark, Kiko, Dany Silva, among others.He is the musical director of various groups for which he often composes and arranges, among which are his own projects: Vasco Agostinho Quartet, Vasco Agostinho Trio, New Orleans Revisited (Quartet), and the Homage to Sarah Vaughan Quintet.Aside from his career as a guitarist and composer, Vasco Agostinho is also one of the best teachers in this area and has dedicated a great deal of energy to teaching Jazz.
