Cesar Cardoso

Born in 1982 at Leiria. Started studing music at 7 years old in local phillarmonic. At 12 years old started studing classical studies during 8 years. Later he discovers the jazz music, and since that he had attended many workshops with Pedro Madaleno, Joao Moreira, Jorge Reis, Ricardo Pinheiro, Afonso Pais, Jose Menezes, Bernardo Moreira, Pedro Moreira, Perico Sambeat, Dave Schnitter, David Binney, Chris Cheek, and others.
In 2004 he went to Hot Clube de Portugal were he had lessons with Jorge Reis, and in the last years with Pedro Moreira.
In 2007 record his first CD "Kick'n Blow", of his dixieland band DESBUNDIXIE.
He had already played in many places like Parlatório Café (Alcobaça), BFlat Jazz Club (Porto), Projecto Jazz (Pombal), Onda Jazz (Lisbon), Hot Five (Porto), Centro Cultural Vila Flôr (Guimarães), Hot Clube (Lisbon), and in many Jazz Festival like: 1st TVedras Jazz Festival 2005, Jazz Festival of Minde 2006, 3th International Festival of Dixieland of Cantanhede 2006, Jazz Festival of Aljustrel 2006, 10º Jazz Festival of Valado de Frades 2007, Jazz Festival of Odemira 2007, 4th Douro Jazz Festival 2007, 1st Portugal Jazz Itinerante, 6ª Jazz Fest of S. Luíz, and others.
In December 2007, played in Main Auditorium of Centro Cultural de Belém, representing the jazz school "Hot Clube de Portugal", during the Jazz Festival "Portugal Jazz Itinerante".
He had already played with "Big Band do Oeste", "Big Band Reunion", "Orquestra Herman Jose", Xutos e Pontapés, "Claus Nymark Big Band", "7teto of Hot Clube de Portugal" and "Big Band Hot Clube de Portugal".
He had already played with many musicians like, Afonso Pais, Bruno Santos, João Moreira, Jorge Reis, Pedro Moreira, Bernardo Moreira, Claus Nymark, Filipe Melo, Bruno Pedroso, Rodrigo Gonçalves, Miguel Amado, André Sousa Machado, Mário Laginha, Maria João, Alexandre Frazão, Bernardo Sassetti, Julian Arguelles, Zé Eduardo, Perico Sambeat, Rosario Giuliani, and others.
In May of 2008 went to Italy, representing Portugal in the European Colours Jazz Orchestra.
He is a member of Desbundixie, Transatlantistas, Big Band of Hot Clube de Portugal and Saxophone Ensemble of Hot Clube de Portugal.
