Lisbon.
Started studying drums in 1994 with Professor Joaquim Furtado when she attended the Associação Filarmónica de Faro (AFF) where also studied music theory.
The same year she began, with her school mates, a feminine rock band named ..Pickle Puss.. with whom she performed for four years in several national concerts and contests where they won prizes as the ..best band.., ..stage presence award.., etc. They had the pleasure of playing opposite to various rock bands like Supernova, Voodoo Dolls, Blind Zero, The Pogues, etc.
Between 95 and 98 she performed as guest drummer with local rock bands ..The Painbox.. and the ..Three Rivers...
As a result of an increasing interest in Jazz she attended the 1st Jazz Workshop at the AFF. In 1996 she was invited to perform with the 1st Algarve..s Big Band.
She attended the Barreiro..s Jazz School (directed by Zé Eduardo) between 2000 and 2002 where she took classes with drummer Jorge Moniz.
At the meantime she starts ..By the Book.., a new project in the rock metal field with whom she performed for a short period.
Also in 2001 she joined the Eddy Silva..s Jazz Trio and the ..Algarve Jazz Ensemble.. with whom she performed all over the country.
Had national media projection when she won in January 2002 the ..Antena 3.. radio contest for emerging young talents as revelation drummer witch led her to perform with Belgium Pop stars K..s Choice.
Again in the Pop world she decided to form a new band, the ..Elfs and Fairies.. witch had performed in several venues along the country.
She had attended several Jazz workshops organized by Associação Grémio das Músicas (AGM) where she had the opportunity to meet important jazz musicians as director Frank Tiberi, bassist Doug Weiss, drummer Billy Drummond, drummer Nasheet Waits, etc, etc.
Since 2003 she is the substitute drummer with the Zé Eduardo UNIT with whom she had performed several important concerts and club dates.
Very recently she performed with American sax player Greg Tardy.
In 2003 was invited to play again with Zé Eduardo Unit in the jazz festival of Macau (November).
2005 she made the tour in the US (NYC, Boston and Baltimore) with Zé Eduardo Unit.
Currently she..s playing with the singer/songwriter Nannok since 2005 .
In 2008 she moved to Barcelona to atend the Jazz school " Taller de Musics ".
While in Barcelona she joined a rock band " Lost Animals " and performed in Barcelona and made a tour in Portugal.
