For The Bible Tells Me So is Opening at Quad Cinema in NYC on October 5th!

Anyway, back to the film. This provocative and often times very moving documentary takes a serious look at the intersection between Christianity and Homosexuality through a series of interviews with Christian families and their gay/lesbian family members.
The film was a big hit at the Sundance film festival this year and it won a special award for Human Rights at the 2007 Full Frame documentary film festival. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to catch a pre-release screening of it here in D.C. and to meet the film maker Dan Karslake. No matter how you feel about this polarizing and politically charged issue, I think it's really a worthwhile film to see.
I put this page up because I think it's an important topic for our society to continue talk about and I think this film is a an excellent starting point for a national conversation.
