Prayer for Those Overcoming Addictions
It's important to know that when a person is asking for prayers to overcome an addiction; it means that they have made the concious decision to try to take control of their life. We are not allowed to judge those trying to overcome addictions; we are allowed to pray for them. Pray for the strength and courage it's going to take to turn away from those things that have taken control of their lives. With God as their higher power victory over addictions can be theirs.

** Myspace Running Slow? **
If your system is running slow, I do know of a free way to increase your computer's speed. If you go to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ , download the program, it will increase your internet connection speed. With this program you can add any type of plug-ins you like (music, pop up protection for example). It works like Internet Explorer, but its designed to handle graphics, music, and larger files. Another feature is you can save web sites in your favorites to come back to later. Give this program a try, as I know it works well for me and my 6 year old computer.

Rev. Elder Troy Perry
The Rev. Elder Dr. Troy D. Perry founded Metropolitan Community Churches with 12 people in his living room in Los Angeles on October 6, 1968. Since that time, the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches (UFMCC) has grown, under his leadership, to 44,000+ people in over 370 congregations in 16 countries around the world.
Troy had been involved in Christian ministry since he was 13. As a young man, he entered full-time ministry in a Pentecostal Church and married a pastor's daughter, with whom he had two sons. He was unable to ignore his homosexual feelings which ultimately brought an end to his marriage and his ministry.
He never expected to return to Christian ministry, but he did, founding a congregation which grew into the MCC denomination. He retired as Moderator of the MCC in 2005, and the Reverend Elder Nancy Wilson succeeded him at an installation service on 29 October 2005. He remains active in public speaking and writing.
