Metropolitan Community Church of New York provides a spiritual home for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community and all who choose to join us, through practicing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in worship, prayer, social action, education and fellowship, so that all people might experience God's liberating love, wholeness and justice; come to live in right relationship with God and all creation; and have the courage to change the world.
Rev. Pat Bumgardner, Senior Pastor

Rev. Pat Bumgardner is the Senior Pastor of MCCNY. She is a well-known advocate for social justice and leads MCC's Global Social Justice Campaign. Rev. Pat has also led MCCNY in its mission to serve the community through our Food Pantry and Homeless Youth Shelter.
Rev. Edgard Danielsen-Morales, Assistant Pastor for Congregational Life

Rev. Edgard Danielsen-Morales is the Assistant Pastor for Congregational Life. A scholar, activist and excellent preacher, he brings a range of gifts to MCCNY's expanding ministry and outreach. He is the Director of MCCNY's Religious Education and Membership program.

Rev. Boon Lin Ngeo is the Staff Pastor at MCCNY. An excellent and entertaining preacher, he also conducts the Mandarin Celebration on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month at 3pm. Rev. Boon is a Facilitator for MCCNY's Religious Education and Membership program.

Metropolitan Community Church of New York is part of the worldwide Christian denomination of Metropolitan Community Churches (MCC). MCC serves all people, with a special outreach to the world's gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities.
Rev. Elder Troy Perry, Founder of Metropolitan Community Church

Founded in 1968 in Los Angeles by the Rev. Elder Troy Perry, MCC has more than 32,000 members in more than 370 churches in 22 countries throughout the world. The Rev. Elder Nancy Wilson is the Moderator.

MCC is the world's largest and oldest LGBT organization.

People come to Metropolitan Community Church of New York from all walks of life and for many different reasons. Some people come to find a spiritual refuge. Others come to connect with people in the community. And, still others come to get involved in changing the world. Whatever your reason, you are welcome at MCCNY.
