About Me

We are a group of disabled veterans who live in Northern Kentucky & Ohio. The men and women in our group are simply friends joined by a common bond ... to learn, live, play, and work together. We are here to network with other people and Organizations that are interested in supporting veterans in adaptive athletics or are interested in learning about adaptive sports. We also strive to do outreach to other brothers & sisters who just might need a little extra inspiration and positivity in their lives.

We are interested in many many things. Adaptive Sports are important to us. We participate in a variety of sporting events as a team of veterans from the Northern Kentucky/Ohio area. Annually, we participate in the Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic, the National Veterans Wheelchair Games, as well as the Ohio State Wheelchair Games and a variety of other competitions such as hunting and national Bass fishing tournaments.

Here's a little video clip of last year's National Veterans Wheelchair games in Milwaukee, which hosted nearly 600 wheelchair veterans from the United States, Puerto Rico & England. Our Ohio team is one of the largest teams in the US and we are proud of our active involvement in these events.

Our Cincinnati athletes are avid bowlers ... usually we bowl about 3 times weekly on wheelchair/able-bodied leagues that we've formed as well as practices. However, we truly like to mix it up a little with handcycling, billiards, track & field events, air rifles & trap shooting, softball, basketball, archery, etc.

We welcome friendship ... of all sorts. One can never have too many friends. We travel around the country for events so finding mutual friends at the same events is always wonderful. Watch our calendar of events below and be sure to let us know if you or your group will be going as well!!!

We'd love to have pics of other wheelchair athletes and veterans to put in our photo file so feel free to share your special pics.
