I strive for simplicity and inner peace ... and am very passionate about the things and people in my life. I find that taking the focus off myself and sinking my energy into the positive energy of others makes me a better person, inside and out.
It's truly the little things in life that make me happy:
~ the feeling of sand between my toes & a hand gently stroking my face
~ the smell of fresh rain & clean sheets
~ the combination of peanut butter & chocolate melting in my mouth
~ the sweet goodnight hug from my kids
I call myself a Cincinnati girl, although I actually live in Northern KY. I really love our area, as it's a great place for live music, my passion. So finding something fun to do is never a problem for me.

I've been thinking alot about the real friendships I've made in my life. Without them, I doubt I'd have been able to make the smooth transition from a very unhappy life to the very happy one I now have. Part of those tight friendships have involved "listening", even when it's not what I want to hear. "Hearing" has been the one thing that's helped me change inside. To my friends, I thank you sooo much:
