The mission of the Barnaba Institute is to raise awareness about human trafficking as it pertains to sexual exploitation through lectures, media, law enforcement training and by reaching out to sexually exploited youth and adults with support, guidance and care.
The Barnaba Institute was formed by Frank N. Barnaba and the Board of Directors in response to the growing need for the education of professionals, law enforcement, students and nonprofits on human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
Mr. Barnaba has 26 years of experience from the Paul & Lisa Program, Inc., a non-profit based in Connecticut dedicated to the outreach of sexually exploited youth and to prevention education programs in the Connecticut school systems.
Mr. Barnaba has presented at the White House and other numerous national conferences on sexual exploitation and trafficking, as well as testified at hearings at the House of Representatives and the Helsinki Commission. His extensive experience in lecturing on sexual exploitation includes Brown University, the University of Miami, Wheaton College and Yale Divinity School in addition to Connecticut schools, rotary clubs and local churches.
The Barnaba Institute is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization.
