The American Anti-Slavery Group is a U.S.-based non-profit dedicated to the abolition of modern day slavery. While many believe that the slave trade ended some time ago, there are still over 27 million people held in bondage today.In working to abolish modern-day slavery and provide support and empowerment to survivors, AASGâ€™s programs are geared toward promoting awareness, engaging in advocacy and activism, and providing direct aid for victims.Slavery isn't history.
