Slavery Awareness is a program of Better World Partners an international nonprofit, volunteer organization dedicated to the production of new, and promotion of existing, radio and television public service announcements. The purpose of these PSAs is to combat some of the worst afflictions of human society by bringing public awareness to those issues and by encouraging voluntarism and philanthropy. Such afflictions include, but are not limited to, neglect of the suffering elderly, substance abuse, human trafficking and modern-day slavery, hate crimes and other forms of social intolerance. Better World PSA also conducts public outreach campaigns through which its words translate into action; for example, organizing volunteer efforts to visit and check on the elderly, and to share experience, strength, and hope with those suffering from various addictions.
