About Me

Make your own Banner Here!
(Thank you, Redponyboy for all your help, here;-) me, me, me, it's all about me... Its hard to think of all the adjectives it takes to really describe me, so here are a few: weird, funny, loving, thoughtful, quiet, talkative (did i mention "weird"?), add, ocd ( a bit), creative, spacey, ok, who cares... I like to travel, meet people, see things, learn about cultures, history, etc... I am focused on human rights so, most of my postings/etc will be concerning that (especially ndn issues). Also, lemme say that i am against the war, but not the soldiers...ABOUT ME SECTION CODESI'd LIKE TO MEET CODES

My Interests

Art (define, "art"), movies, music, horses, travelin, chattin wth most anyone (especially if they were ADOPTED, too), makin stuff, arts/crafts, politics, history, reading, lookin @ ppl, drivin, paintin, shoppin, the study of evolution and DNA and spending too much time on here, or youtube, or...

I'd like to meet:

Ha, like I could get past security... Anyone who can cure INSOMNIA and my addiction to THIS machine or at least entertain me until i fall asleep... I also adore, in no particular order, Marlon Brando, MLK, The Fruitcake Lady,, Jimi Hendrix, George Yepes, Rhonda Byrne, Graham Greene, Camille Paglia, KT Tunstall, Joan Jet, Nelson Mandela, Bhutto, Steven Hawking, Nina Simone,Colin Farrell, Salma, Tarantino, Robert Rodriquez, Elvis (so what if he's "dead")... Actually, ANYONE who has done compelling and thought provoking work, in the arts or politics or LIFE in general...Anne Frank, Frida Kahlo, Gandhi, Oprah, Dave Chappelle, Prince, David Lynch, John Waters, Maria Tallchief, Marilyn, Augusta Savage, Joss Stone, Anais Nin, Golda Meir, John Redcorn (lol), John Waters... Cool people of all colors, religions, places, life styles and ages who are into a variety of things. Also, those who know a little about life and other people on the planet besides the ones who look or act like they do, and who happen to be funny, thoughtful, sweet, crazy, smart, smart assed, u get the general idea.... I typically don't like xenophobic, overly ethnocentric, dogmatic, narrow minded, homophobic, misogynistic, negative know-it-alls. I like anyone who can teach me something (could be a king or a janitor), make me smile, think, cry, laugh my silly arse off, and it wouldn't have to be a big name. ................................. No one is better than the next soul....

Books:

Now tht I'm over most self help books (take me as i am, or kiss my pretty plump ass, lol), I like mostly historical/factual/nonfiction. I do like Tennessee Williams, Henry Miller, Stephen King, Anne Rice (r u still readin this?? lol),and have a collection behind me that must contain about 700 or so various authors...

Heroes:

I think that there are ordinary ppl who do extraordinary things. So, "hero" is a BIG word, but most anyone who is decent, especially when no one is lookin. I think thats who we REALLY are... Warning: I know that family stuff is lame when its not yours, but, hey, this IS myspace, so there. Wow, lol, maybe I DON'T hate myspace, after all. awe... My mom is my hero for giving me almost any decent quality that i may have, and for going out of her way to take me out of an orphanage in Fla. To me, heroes can be anyone that you look to for inspiration. My friends are heroic cuz they have been through alot and keep on going with a smile (or punch some deserving person, lol) My hub is also one because he was living in Kuwait when it was taken over a few yrs ago. He was finally freed and came back, worked and went to school and has NEVER whined ONCE, so, grow some ballz, ppl, lol... My grandmother (happy birthday, Lil!) who is still kicking (hard) and always worked at some hideously hard job to be self sufficient, and her mother, who was taken outta school to pick cotton (in the sec grade!)and help feed her lil brothers. Thats pretty damn heroic... wow, I feel like such a slacker, now...
