LOBOTOMIA

Main orbit on which Lobotomia is circulating is psychodelia and its various mutations. Interesting trans sound and mix of such music types as: trip hop, noise, chillout, funky and even punk rock endows very specific character and unpredictability of Lobotomia’s creations. It is hard to label trans-psychedelic view which Lobotomia create. Furthermore the band consciously cuts itself off from any gender of thought transmission that can be brought by music and if any creeps in to band creations, one is radically negative. There is no second bottom. As the band members emphasize: every thing is given on a silver plate and ready for consumption. Band was created spontaneously in spring of 2003 by initiative of Damian Reclawowicz (dr) and Marcin Biskupski (git) in small town of Lipiany in Polish westernpomerania. By considerable majority of period 2003 – 2005, Lobotomia exists rather in minds of its creators then in reality. After short break, first attempts of reactivation were undertaken in 2006. Still it was year 2007 that brought significant breakthrough in bands history. The meets again in its primal composition (Biskupski, Sowa, Reclawowicz) and together with vocalist Adrian Apanel, begins the work over the material. At most they create new compositions, but members of Lobotomia willingly reach for those most settled in psychadelia from 2003. The new Lobotomia is more energetic. The band more often derive inspiration from funk, rhythmic rock or even punk rock. Psychodelia and trance in fusion with rock give great results.MUZYKA ALTERNATYWNA
