I'm into old school metal music for the most part, I love animals and volunteer with my local rescue Bobbi & the Strays in NYC. Check out the website if you're interested in adopting www.bobbicares.petfinder.org. Remember - don't buy animals - adoption is kinder and you probably are saving the life of the little guy. Whatever you do - do NOT ever buy from a pet store - those animals are most likely from puppy mills - google puppy mill - I dare you!
Ok back to me - I love bookstores, quaint little shops that sell rustic furniture, panheads, tattoos, black cats (they are the sweetest babies believe me!), big, gigantic platform boots (I own 100's!), crushed velvet (the real kind - not that panne crap), big hair, the macabre, anything to do with Autumn Equinox, kooky Halloween parties, etc. Yes I go from one extreme to the other but that's what sets me apart from the usual mundane creatures that try and grace us with their wit. I'm never fake and usually blunt to the point of people shrinking away - but that's ok - at least I'm real. I NEVER follow trends and my favorite color is black (how appropo that my birthday is on Halloween Eve the Devil's night... ohhhh how spppoooooookkkyyyyyy). Oh and I can be cheery - can't you tell :o)I also hate bullshit artists - people are mostly full of crap if you ask me. No one is true to their word and that is one of my biggest pet peeves. I mean if your word means nothing, then what do you have? I can count on very few people in this world and for them, I am grateful. I'm also grateful for my little boodle mcnoodle - you can see his picture in my pics and Fringie-Cat(RIP).

My Interests

Animal Rescue - don't buy while others die - adopt a pet today! Go to www.bobbicares.petfinder.org for more info. Breeders believe they are finding good homes for all these poor pets that basically should not have been brought into the world at this point anyway - is that why approx. 48% of the pure breds wind up in kill shelters? Do the math and wake up people! Love knows no breed...

Alice in Chains, Pantera, Jane's Addiction, 80's Metal (which includes some Hair Metal (Crue!) and Glam bands but not wimpy b.s. like Firehouse, etc.), old Black Sabbath, Black Label Society (SDMF), Rolling Stones, White Zombie, Rob Zombie, Motorhead, Symptom 7, Sepultura, Children of Bodom, Slayer, OTEP, Tool, Mazzy Star, Old Maiden (esp with Paul Di'anno) although Bruce Dickinson's attitude sucks, some Norwegian black metal, Stooges, Sex Pistols, New York Dolls, old school punk bands, Elton John and so on...

Movies:

goodfellas, sUbuRbia, dazed and confused (ADMIT you love this movie!), anything with parker posey, the breakfast club, 200 cigarettes, jaws, fast times (ok so I'm not deep when it comes to movies), saturday night fever, cheesy 80's stuff, any edward burns stuff, the wanderers, b horror films (long live the killer shrews), seven, bronx tale, 60's biker "tales", documentaries, plus more that the names escape me.

Television:

I don't watch too much TV, but here it is: Two and a Half Men (that kid kills me), Mindfreak, King of Queens, Seinfeld, the ORIGINAL Headbanger's Ball (bring back the Ball!), old school Sopranos, That 70's Show, food network, tvland reruns for hours of mindless enjoyment.

Books:

Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles and also her Witches, Edward Gorey (oh how I adore the Gashlycrumb Tinies!), all of Gregory Maguire's work, EA Poe, Dickens, lots of poetry, the Wanderers, Dean Koontz, Greek Mythology (thanks Tony B!), rockstar biographies, dr. seuss, and tons more.

Heroes:
