I'll forget more than you'll ever know

About Me

Despite my very staid day job and my quiet home life I am a Metalhead and very experienced bassist that loves to play live and go to shows. I have a dry, close to dead-pan type of humor and like most people with a busy brain I'm twisted, opinionated and write a lot. Once you get to know me you'll find I'm kind, thoughtful, and if you're cool, I got your back. I have a low tolerance for bullshit or game-playing, though, and while I'm pretty mellow you'll find this plump lil' kitty has some impressive claws when an asshole makes themselves present. So don't be an asshole. It's quite simple, really.

Don't bother to add me if: - I have nothing in common with you.

- You're just looking for ass. Thanks, but no thanks.
- You promote dance parties or hip-hop events. Not my thing.
- You are a pop, singer-songwriter or rap artist NoNoNoNO!
- You have no personality or sense of humor
- You're one of those model chicks with a page full of ass-shots. Unless you're a Metalhead, mad cool, and have other things to talk about except how hot you are I don't see the point.
BE WARNED: I don't post one-line bulletins about how my day/job/money sucks or how much I hate olives (though I do hate olives). However, I do bulletin quite a bit. Yes, about my band, but about lots of other stuff too. Jokes, interesting postings/videos, things to check out, etc. I like to share :) If seeing 5 bulletins a night or more from one person sends you over the edge, don't add me. I like to communicate and network. That's kind of the point of this, ya know? Sheesh!
You can comment to promote yourself on my page, but for the freakin' love, if it's size of my hand I gotta delete it, yo. Be polite and RESIZE those bitches!
I SUPPORT. If I like your art, whatever it is, I'll go/see/buy/spread the word. I'm good like that :)
I play in Dormitory Effect (OR dormitoryeffect.com) , an ass-kicking all-chick metal band. Some of you from the NY area may remember me from One Step Beyond or STILL YOUR ENEMY. I have 2 doggies that I love to pieces, Cee Cee and Teddy Bear .
My Doggies and & the other chickies in Dormitory Effect, Meredith, Sue, and G! Wanna hear us play? My band's CD is available for sale . Check it out here :)

Yes, my name is unusual, but it's a real Olde-English/Germanic name. There is a St. Urith and she has her own shrine in England. One day I'll have one of my own LOL...

What Fictional Vampire Archtype are You?
brought to you by Quizilla
You scored as III - The Empress, The Empress is a maternal symbol. She is the mother figure who loves, nurtures and protects. She will protect you, she will always be there when you are in trouble. When you fall over and graze your knee, the Empress will kiss it better. Yet she is not a weak figure. Her compassion is strength. If her children are threatened she will stop at nothing to protect them. If well aspected in a Tarot spread, the Empress can symbolise security, protection and unconditional love. If badly aspected it can represent over-protectiveness, fear of risk taking and refusal to face the real world.

My Interests

MUSIC! Playing bass, supporting my fellow musicians and artists, writing, traveling, gambling, motorcycles (Harleys, of course), dogs, reading and cooking.

I'd like to meet:

People who love Metal. People with a sense of humor. Bass players. Drummers. People who have a great sense of self without being self-absorbed. I hate elitist assholes, trendy poseurs, people who dish it out but can't take it, people who are allergic to manners, responsibility, and/or are generally full of shit. I don't care about how you look, where you're from, what you are, or your chonological age as long as you're down-to-earth and love to laugh.

Movies:

Um...I don't do a lot of movies. I get a lot of shit for that, but hey, I feel there is something else I could be doing for two hours. I like comedies like "Spinal Tap", "Mars Attacks", "City Slickers", "Spaceballs" and "Friday". Also love the Matrix series, horror flicks (the original Halloween is still my favorite).

Television:

Any show involving decomposing bodies, maggots and real police stuff like Cops & The First 48, Code Monkeys, South Park, Family Guy, The Simpsons, CSI:Miami, Dirty Jobs, Ninja Warrior, anything geeky/nerdy, and yes, Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Do what now?

Books:

"Lies My Teacher Told Me", "Guns, Germs and Steel: The fate of Human Societies"...books that make you think and rethink what you thought you knew or was taught to accept. Horror stories, especially short stories such as "The Torturer's Apprentice", and any short story collection from Steven King such as "Skeleton Crew". Books involving crime and punishment (sorry, I just can't get enough of that stuff), The Book of Lists 1,2,3, and I really enjoyed "She's Come Undone", "The Story of O" and erotic literature, "Voices From Slavery", "Behind the Glass" - a book given to me by singer extraordinaire Susan Wendelken who believes that I have a great ear for producing - Thanks! :)

Heroes:

"Heroes" (if they're human as opposed to fictional characters) will disappoint you eventually for some reason because they're, well, human. I do admire those who refuse to accept limitations or be restricted by someone else's rulebook, those who are unafraid to be themselves among those that would ridicule them for it.
