PROJECT INDEPENDENT is a national touring, artist showcase program specifically designed for the discovery and development of independent metal artists.
During the summer of each year, we coordinate with local promoters from coast to coast to find the best, independent metal artists in the area. We then invite these artists to participate in our exclusive artist showcases, where they perform in front of their peers, and in the presence of Project Independent A&R. At the end of the night, one artist will be selected to appear on a future Project Independent compilation, thus becoming 1 of 40 artists with a chance to become the next Project Independent Featured Artist.
Since emerging onto the scene in spring 2006, Project Independent has become the most popular and fastest growing independent artist search in the United States. With the support of national sponsors, our fanbase has risen from 475,000 in December 2006 to 3.2 million as of July 2007. That is a 600% increase over our first 6 months with the addition of sponsors.
Project Independent is not a record label however we do share many similarities. The services and prize packages offered by Project Independent are designed to provide artists with replication, retail & internet distribution, promotional touring, equipment upgrades and tech support.
Our immediate goal is to educate artists through hands-on experiences and provide them with a general knowledge of the entertainment industry as well as the necessary tools to succeed while remaining truly INDEPENDENT.

FANS...... We are now forming the "Project Army" ,a street team of sorts, only we are going to march the streets of the entire United States. If you want to join the Project Army & help with promotions & other duties please shoot us a message on this page. Members of the Project Army will be given various rewards for the work they do for us. This can be anything from merchandise like CD's, T-shirts, plus V.I.P. to events. Basically we will do as much as possible for our Army cause we truly appreciate all supporters of metal music.
