About Me

AutoFate came to completion in the fall of 2005 with the addition of Ezra Haynes to the lineup of already strong and well recognized musicians from the Northern Colorado music scene. Completing the roster are guitar player Josh Harms, bassist Addam Hyink, and drummer Ben DArcy .After the departure of original vocalist Kurtis McDaniels from the band , Josh, Addam and Ben had been struggling to find a vocalist with the skills to front the aural assault they had been creating under the moniker Redshift. Many failed auditions, letdowns and false hopes began to produce a darker sound with more aggression and real life angst in the music. With seemingly no one having what it took to front Redshift in its newfound state, the three decided to reevaluate their creative process and put everything they had learned into something new. This different style of metal being created now led Redshift to search for a vocalist with a more underground sound. It was this search led them south to Loveland Colorado where they answered an ad in a local music shop; Singer and Drummer in need of bass and guitar. With one phone call and some persuasion, the three were able to convince the singer to give their project a try. After a few practices, Ezra quit his old project and began to put his personal touch on what Josh, Addam, and Ben had been perfecting all this while.Ezra Haynes with his powerful and wide range of screams had what it took to make the thick, precision fired riffs, thunderous low end and machine gun like drums stand out in their own unique way. AutoFate was now complete. The newly formed four piece began writing material that was undeniably heavy and personal, yet catchy and memorable, music that grew on the crowds of local concert goers.Only a few short months after its creation, AutoFate hit the studio and recorded their first EP titled The Rise from Ruin, a shot at everyones past, failed endeavors. The five songs that graced the EP were well received, as was the band. With their energetic live show and ability to move a crowd, they were headlining shows and playing to record number audiences at venues from Denver to Fort Collins only a short while after the EPs release. The early EP sold well, faster then could be reproduced, and with dedicated fans screaming loudly and moving violently at shows, AutoFate knew they were on to something good.As strong as ever and always pushing the limits of what they can do, the members of AutoFate are poised to join the forefront of the American Metal Revolution.COPY THE CODE TO PUT ONE OF THESE AUTOFATE BANNERS ON YOUR PAGE!!
