Fast becoming one of the most talked about bands in Edinburgh, they recently played a superb live acoustic session on Leith FM, have had extensive airplay on XFM and were made ScotCampus musicians of the month in November 2007.
Brutal pop outfit, The Fusiliers recently launched their eagerly anticipated debut EP with a storming set at Spectrum Festival in the Queen’s Hall, Edinburgh. It is now available exclusively on download through iTunes, Napster and amazonmp3.com.

So what have we been up to?We launched our Debut EP at Spectrum Festival with a main stage slot at the Queens Hall in Edinburgh. The band went down a storm and we managed to sell a ton of EPs.The fact we're one of the first bands in the UK to start selling their music via Drop Cards has generated a lot of interest not only with the people we meet but also the press including The Scotsman on Friday 25th of April."While CD sales might be in decline, Edinburgh band The Fusiliers (www.wearethe fusiliers.co.uk) report that their debut EP, We Are The Fusiliers, has been selling rather well on the new drop card format. About the size of a credit card, it carries information, including track listings, art work and all the other stuff normally found on record or CD sleeves. It also has a code, which allows the buyer to download the songs."The cards are great. They allow us to keep the EP exclusively on download but still have a physical product to sell at gigs etc.On the 27th of April we were featured on JP's radio show "The Sunday Service" on Leith FM. There was chat, there was tunes and there was 3 acoustic numbers we played live in the studio. If you missed it, have no fear as a recording of the whole show will be up on our MySpace and facebook shortly along with the acoustic tracks separately. We do a really nice cover as well but I'll not spoil it for you and let you find out what it is for yourself. To quote JP "...that quite literally brought a tear to my eye. Look that’s an actual tear"On the 4th of May The Fusiliers were featured artists at the Your Sound event at King Tuts. Check out the site here http://www.kingtuts.co.uk/yoursound/. Every month King Tuts holds a music industry event for unsigned acts to give them a chance to meet A&R, Press etc and build up some contacts. Every month King Tuts and DF Concerts staff picks the best from Scotland’s unsigned music scene and use their music as the sound track for the day. They very kindly selected us.XFM picked us and two other acts, for their Music: Response show hosted my Martin Bate, to be put up for the public vote. Thank you everyone who voted for us as it paid off. We are now XFM Uploaded Music: Response weekly winners. That’s it for now.
Y'all come back now
