My Interests

Music:

Band Members: - Dave Allan - Simon Thomas - Susan Hanrahan - Cameron Read - Jude Fitzgerald - Professor Plastic - Phil Williams -
Influences: The joy of being Kollectivised is that we bring everything to the party but I always think everything goes in and sometimes things just come back out.The original concept was no more than a celebration of krautrock but things rapidly developed into areas of Rock, Dance and Experimental. The vocalists bring their individuality in their voices and lyrics, the musicians bring their differing approaches, skill levels and individual stylings. If I was pushed I'd say personally the Stooges, the Dolls and the Velvets, hot on the heels of Kraftwerk, la Dusseldorf and Neu! Round that off with some early Roxy Music, a love of Big Bands (especially Billy May's arrangements), Spike Jones and his City Slickers, John Barry and I would be in denial if I didnt reference Giorgio Moroder and Latin American!
Type of Label: None
