Influences: Influences are many - I could say Billy May in all forms but especially the Rico Mambo Orchestra and the Sinatra arrangements , Yma Sumac, Astrid and Bebel Gilberto, Jobim, Ultralounge, Bobby Darin, Bernard Herrmann, John Barry, Louis Prima and Keely Smith, Peggy Lee, Catarina Valente, Film Noir, Metropolis, Classic Hollywood Musicals (MGM etc). Soundtracks such as North By Northwest, The Day the Earth Stood Still, A Clockwork Orange, The Sorceror and the Keep, any of the John Barry or David Arnold Bond Music, and John Barry's Ipcress File.
Everything goes in and sometimes some of it comes back out again in our music.
