About Me

Born in Dundee in August 2007
Although the Goodnights have only been playing together for a short time they have drawn crowds and positive reviews whenever they have played live in or out of Dundee. "More than Anyone" the title of the Goodnights demo E.P has received nothing but praise on all levels and has been described as "A heartfelt slice of superior song writing and arranging." and "more and more infectious with every play." The Goodnights continue to draw large crowds whenever they play due to the easy listening and easy feel that the band produce when on stage doing what they do best and that is performing wither it be to a single person or to a full house.
In the short time the Goodnights have been together they have supported bands such as The Dykeenies, Tiny Dancers, Captain, Parka and played alongside some of the best bands in the U.K.
2008 has already been a busy year for The Goodnights as the band are just out of the studio after recording 3 new songs and already are getting great feedback about them. In addition to the official launch of the "More Than Anyone E.P" on 5th April, the boys have been working on several new tracks and for the following months there are a bundle of Gigs set up in Dundee, Edinburgh, Liverpool and Glasgow to keep the band busy into the summer.
"New band, new start and seriously promising".
"The Goodnights are, right now, one of the consumate album-oriented song bands on the scene".
"A band that boasts a very full sound led by a singer whose vocal is one of those excellent, almost self-harmonising type of vocals."
"A heartfelt slice of superior songwriting and arranging."
"You can't readily classify this band other than saying they represent the skilled songwriting side of the Dundee Scene with a maturity and quality that wreaks of album band".
"This is a band that's writing and playing seriously strong songs for which it would be criminal to ignore".
"The Goodnights signal a truely remarkable feat of established songwriting, having only been together for a short time, they show musical maturity earning their status as a rising talent ready to grip domination outside their home territory"
Hopefully see you at gigs.much love xxx
