About Me
Accademia del Suono was born in 2005 with the mission to become within a short time an important reference point for all musical activities in Milan. Today, within only 3 years from its opening, we can proudly count on a team of valuable and well-known Maestri such as Donato Begotti, Gigi Cifarelli, Lele Melotti, Mauro Negri, Paola Folli, Paolo Costa, Christian Meyer, Maxx Furian, Bebo Ferra, Riccardo Fioravanti, Andrea Pozza and Stefano Bagnoli. To this date, the Accademia del Suono has already hosted many international talents like Pat Martino, George Massenburg, Jojo Mayer, Carl Verheyen and Bruce Becker (with this year’s academic calendar presenting Mike Stern, Andy Timmons, Simon Phillips, Scott Henderson, Horacio “El Negro†Hernandez and Guthrie Govan), has worked with national television networks as Bananas (Zelig – Canale 5), Magnolia (La sposa perfetta – RAI 2) and Milano Produzioni (Cantatu - Allmusic), and has produced international albums, the latest being “Giovanni Nuti canta Alda Merini†distributed by Sony BMG.
