Alessandro Semprevivo born in 1977, has been playing the
drum since he was 13 years old.
In the city of Milan, from 1997
to 2000, he went to the percussion school at the "AMM" (Academy of
modern music) where he knew Marco Volpe teacher.
In Milan he also
attended many courses of the most known drum teachers like: DAVID
GARIBALDI(Tower of Power),TOMMY CAMPBELL(Stanley Jordan), FRANCO ROSSI,
CRISTIAN MEYER, AGOSTINO MARANGOLO, ELLADE BANDINI, MIKE SHAPIRO.
From
2000 to 2001 he studied with Maurizio Dei Lazzaretti in Rome and during
the Umbria Jazz Festival in 2000 he improved his studies by teaching of
the Boston Berklee College Ron Savage teacher.
He took part in
important italian and international music Festivals like:

Classico in 2001(Theatre Project and SPECIMEN Music);

He played with "MANIGOLD",
"VENTO DI FRONDA", "ANIMALUNAE", "OPA CUPA", "ADRIA", "VERTIGO BAND", "DJ GRUFF & The
SINFONAITO", "INSOLADO Trio"...
Since 2001 he has been teaching jazz music at the "Yamaha
Music Academy" of Lecce.
