Kai Hoffman

The lovely London-based American songstress Kai Hoffman combines a brilliant feel with a deep, flexible sound and range. Kai’s ’refreshing and exciting voice’ (Dave Silk, Greenwich Jazz Festival) is sure to keep you entertained. Also an accomplished French horn player, Kai occupied the National Youth Jazz Orchestra French horn chair for 5 years (as well as singing with the band) and has played with major symphony orchestras. She has performed with musicians including Jamie Cullum, John Dankworth, Cleo Laine and Phil Woods, and at venues ranging from the Royal Albert Hall to Ronnie Scott’s club. ************************************************************ ***************Her new band, Kai’s Cats (www.myspace.com/kaiscats or www.kaiscats.com), features some of the finest jazz musicians working in the UK today!
