The Dave Manington Quartet began life nearly 5 years ago, as a working band which emerged from many vibrant playing sessions and rehearsals between them and other members of the Loop Collective. It soon gathered momentum and with the formation of the Loop collective in 2005 helping to establish gigs and creative impetus for this and many other projects it became a firm line-up. This fresh ensemble of young musicians plays original music written by Dave over the course of the past five years. It features three of the most in demand and forward-thinking young musicians in London, Mark Hanslip on tenor saxophone, Ivo Neame ..boards and Tim Giles on drums/percussion.
