About Me

Hello. Thanks for visiting my page. It really is very good of you to stop by.

Currently I’m making music with alot of wonderful musicians and friends - Kairos Quartet – Adam Waldman – Jon Scott – Jasper Hoiby - Maylight – Mary Wakelam – Chris Reed - Lizzy Parks Band Atila – Tom Farmer – Tommy Laurence – Jake Goss – Anita Wardell – Cecilie Giskemo and many others!.

I studied at Leeds College of Music gaining a BA Hons in Jazz Studies and receiving Sam Hood award for Oustanding Performance and The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London gaining an Mmus in Music Performance with Distinction.

I've been lucky enough to play with with Bob Mintzer, Phil Woods, Benny Golson, Bryan Adams, Tim Garland, Soweto Kinch, Jimmy Heath, Anita Wardell, Damon Albarn amongst others.

Recently I was involved in the Gorillaz/Damon Albarn project Monkey Journey to The West which broadcast on BBC Radio 2 and played at the O2 for 8 weeks.

I’m musical Director for US Vocalist Marisa Turner and also Russian Classic FM star Marina Laslo and we’ve done concerts at Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club and in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I also have recorded library music for Silva Screen Records and have featured on dance records for Planet Perfecto and Soul Factory records.

I’ve played quite alot of places including Pizza Express Jazz Club, Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex Jazz Club, The 606, The O2, and have toured Germany, Norway, Russia, Malaysia, Italy, Slovenia, and The US.

I like good music, good food, good red wine (it really is worth spending a couple of extra quid you know) and expensive chords.

Its all good fun really, isn’t it?
