About Me

Levan Tskhadadze was born in 1983 in Tbilisi, Georgia. From 1995 till 2002 he studied in the E. Mikeladze Music School of Instrumental Music (Teacher D. Djishkariani). After the graduation from the school he entered the V.Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatoire (Docent D. Djishkariani). In 2002 Levan became the Georgian President’s Scholarship holder. In 2003 he won the Francois Leleux Competition in Tbilisi , where he received the clarinet from the famous clarinettist Paul Meyer. In the same year he won the scholarship of the foundation " Solo " founded by Liza Leonskaya and also a diploma and special "public prize" in the 3rd National Music Competition in Tbilisi . From the April 2004 till September 2004, Levan was invited to study in the "Hochschule für Musik und Theater München" with Prof. Ulf Rodenhäuser. During that time he took master classes in Haus Marteau (Prof. Ulf Rodenhäuser), where he became the scholarship holder of the International Music Meetings of Haus Marteau. He was a principal clarinet in Tbilisi Conservatoire Orchestra. When he was 21, he became principal clarinettist in the Orchestra of the Tbilisi State Opera. In 2004 he had various concerts in Germany France and Holland. From the year 2005 he studies in the Conservatory of Amsterdam with Harmen de Boer. During his studies in Amsterdam he had master classes with Ralph Manno, Joan-Enric Iluna and Karl Leister. Levan has various performances with different orchestras in Georgia and he plays solo as well as the chamber music concerts. In 2008/09 he will join the world youth orchestra and will go on the tour in deferent countries.
