The Tbilisi Conservatoire Jazz Band was founded and its first official presentation was held on 29 December 2007 in the Big Hall of the Conservatoire.The Jazz Band's existenceis a first step for Tbilisi Conservatoire to open a Jazz Department and Faculty.Also, its goal is to promote Jazz within Georgia.The core of the band consists of piano, bass and drums and is complemented by a trio of soloists: flute, guitar and trumpet.
