Naked Concrete Girl
Naked concrete girl,
Why do you seem so sad?
Those voices take your home?
See you panic? Kill your dad?
Don't yield, bloodless stone.
Defer to coma always.
Dream on, forget... yet
Never love frail...
Cold, concrete girl.
Your flow's have known the world.
Always going... have no number.
Ever strong, forever callous
Wrapped, chaotic slumber.
Cracked measures are your curse.
What severs the rigid slant?
Eradicates decay?
Reveals a conscious grass?
Green candy for the child...
How it shows her brilliant smile!
Trust those swarming rhythms,
Tactile beats for the tread.
Piece anything tangible
To give a humble bed.
But who can show her how?
One to seep inside the cracks,
Renovate the wounds
Show existence lacks.
Sever extrinsic rigidity,
Oh, that constant biting rigor!
Who can stave the beating?
Withstand your evil vigor?
One who loves your humble place
Grey seas and open frost.
His might is made of ice and strength
He knows and parts your loss.

My Letter of Forgiveness

An Account of God's Blessings: A Continuation of My Testimony

Recently, someone said that a testimony is not a recounting of the negative times in one's life, but rather, it's an account of God's blessings and constant presence in one's life. I encourage you to ...

How does one move forward?

How does one move forward? What if the next step you take is off a cliff? I stepped off a cliff approximately five years ago. God didn't let me fall into an oblivion though. Actually, I landed ...

"Inspiring Catharsis: A Personal Testimony of God's Mercy"

My first memories are of being behind bars. I vividly recall the tenacious need to pull up on the edge of the crib& looking out at "my world" and aching for escape. I have often wondered why I would f...
