Wow, that's awe!some--thank you Visitors!!!! as well as Friends!!!!

I am an avant-garde CROCHET FASHION DESIGNER, fiber artist, stylist, dancer & model(ling) my designs daily. I was born and raised in New York City, NY. I am completely self-taught designer since childhood, wielding my spontaneous weapon of praise--girl, I'm surgical with this instrument! I have taught my childhood peers to crochet as well as adults to break all rules when it comes to yarn and a hook. We are actually creating fabric as we work row by row and fabric eventually produces fashion--rejoice in the works of your own hands. I have hosted a television show in Moss Point, MS (pre-Hurricane Katrina) called "The AWE!Some Crochet YouGoGirl Show". I have also done numerous fashion shows both here & abroad, taught at the Sandra Eisler Summer Art Camp, had my work in galleries, been interviewed for news articles, walk daily in my creations--Da Hook has been good to and for me! Oh HOOK YEAH!

The poetry in motion is so kinetic--active when you crochet--is rhythmic and captivating! I love to watch you sketch and go from being 'pregnant' into 'labor' and 'deliver' in joy & sorrow--newborn ideas/designs!

You're a wonderful and very protective mother to your ingenuity!!

You caress the yarn, teaching it how to breathe, live and love being seen and it just hugs you! Can an outfit or an accessory be proud to be worn? Does it shine for its creator/mother? Do your 'natural' children? Of course, so why not your designs?!
