Beauty is defined in Webster's dictionary as qualities that give pleasure to the senses,or exalt the mind. Exalt means to rise up in power or dignity,glorify, exaltation. The part that intrigues me most is the words to exalt the mind; to elevate your thinking.How do you really see yourself?So many times our idea of beauty is what we see by way of what is given to us through the media, magazines, etc. and we try to fit in this mold, thus being bound to a false system of beauty. Loosing our identity in the process. Meaning how we were originally created to be; unique, different, priceless, no two blue prints alike. Fearfully and wonderfully made in God's image, which can only be beautiful. Not how people tell you you should look. Loving you, your sister and your brother, whether a size 2 or a size 18, whatever height, whatever features you have been given.JUST SIMPLY LOVING YOU!!When you look at your image in a mirror, if you ever begin to question what you see, remember to imagine your Father GOD taking something simple, a ball of dirt, forming it into something that is known by Him; unique, different, gorgeous, brillant, but not yet fully known. Until he reveals what was already finished,TRUE BEAUTY-YOU!!!!!
